The Glamping Tent

I recently stayed in one of their glamping tents, and it was such a fun, comfortable experience. The tent is spacious, set up on a platform with a real bed (on a frame), crisp linens, a fan, air conditioning (yes, you get AC in a tent!), and a Keurig for that first warm cup of coffee in the morning. During my stay, it rained gently, and there is something incredible about falling asleep to the sound of rain on canvas while staying warm and cozy in bed. In the morning, I woke up to the sound of birds and crisp air, peeking outside to a misty, peaceful campground that felt like a breath of fresh air.

The Big Park Sign & Rooster

The bathhouse on-site deserves a shout-out. It has the nostalgic feel of a summer camp bathhouse but is immaculately clean. Every time I visited, whether for a shower or a quick stop, it was spotless and well-maintained. The park includes a variety of lodging options—cabins, RV sites, and the large fire pit area for guests to gather (it was raining on and off, so it wasn’t in use during my stay). I met a few fellow guests during walks around the park, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.

Check-in was seamless, even though I arrived in the evening, with the camp host getting everything ready within minutes. The friendliness of the staff and the welcoming vibe of the park made the stay feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re looking for a clean, friendly, and peaceful place to glamp, RV, or cabin camp in Mountain View, Ozark RV Park and Cabins is an excellent choice. You’re close enough to explore town, enjoy live music, or head out for a hike, but you also have a quiet, cozy spot to return to at the end of the day.

Local Attractions I’ve Visited and Recommend

During my time in the area, I’ve had the chance to explore some wonderful local spots that pair perfectly with a glamping stay at Ozark RV Park:

  1. Ozark Folk Center State Park – I loved seeing live folk music and the artisan demonstrations, plus the gardens are beautiful for a stroll.

  2. Blanchard Springs Caverns – Touring the caverns is a must; it’s stunning and worth the drive.

  3. Downtown Mountain View – The folk music scene here is vibrant, and the local shops are fun to explore.

  4. Mirror Lake – A peaceful spot to walk, relax, or picnic while enjoying the Ozark scenery.

Local Places to Eat (Tried and Loved)

While staying at Ozark RV Park, I enjoyed checking out several local spots, and I’m happy to recommend them:

  • PJ’s Rainbow Cafe – I had the biggest burger here, and it was great. A cozy spot for lunch with a classic small-town diner feel.

  • The Rusty Cup – I went for breakfast and had biscuits and gravy that hit the spot, paired with a warm, welcoming vibe.

  • Wing Shack & Cheeseburger Grill – Naturally, I ordered wings, and they were tasty—perfect after a day of exploring.

  • Mi Pueblito – Stopped in for a queso and chips snack, which was fresh and satisfying.

  • Moonshot Coffee – A great local spot for morning coffee to start the day before heading out to explore.
